A few weeks ago I attended an open house event at the historic Forster Mansion located in San Juan Capistrano. It’s a wonderful venue for intimate weddings with appealing lush surroundings of swaying palm trees and scented gardens. The Spanish-style estate is in impeccable condition and yet has bragging rights to being over 100yrs old. From a wrap-around wooden terrace, to an old world fountain, to their dimly lit martini bar, this place has plenty of photo opts for the bride and groom. Jay’s Catering, one of Orange County’s premier caterers, sponsored the event and provided complimentary hors d’oeuvres for all attending guests and being a ‘foodie’ myself they scored an A+. There were also several other recommended vendors on-site welcoming all the brides-to-be. I also had a chance to shoot a faux- bride/groom which was an unexpected treat!
